it was bound to happen / here comes the sun / it's allright
worked on a sociology midterm essay, since 6:55pm. erm. yeah, i was working on one for about 2.5 hours till the office, and have been working on another one since 10. at 3:15am when i typed my last word that i was somewhat happy with, the computer shuts off. i was surprsingly calm, i was like "Yeah, i saved."
but i turn the computer back on again, and open the file, and it's a blank piece of paper. open office let me down. this is when the heart starts racing.
tried some ways to restore it, searching vainly for the file, no dice. instead of wasting time panicking, i just retyped my thoughts. the language was a little more concise this time, just don't have time for all those commas! and i think i'm okay with it.
took so many bathroom breaks tonight, trying to stay active, prevent restless leg syndrome. when i couldnt deal with sociology, i read some life, the universe and everything. and that was some good chuckles.
so i have work at 9! i think i am going to take a little nappy nap.
first allnighter ever! as i save my file to three places for the last time, i see some light coming in through the window. (i had closed the shades, it helps me focus). and i laugh hysterically.
but i'm still calm.
always calm and mellow.
oh btw, the office was great! lauren and i had a grood time.
