So, yesterday was the Adirondak Drums show @ East Field in Glens Falls//Ft. Edward. Ethan came with us.
We went up to Lake George for the day for a little bit of shopping, ack.
Then we got some lunch at Capri's. They're like Vince's, only not in Johnstown :D
After some more outlet skimming, we got subs at Mr. B's.
It started raining. =(
We got there, and it stopped.. for a little while..
I got two shirts-- a long sleeve Sprit logo, and a short sleeve Carolina Crown tour shirt.
Performing Corps:
DIVISION III
1
Cadets of New York City
57.25
Their show was all about Gershwin & stuff like that. The guard was so cute, but it was hard to sit through that show..
DIVISION I
1
Boston Crusaders
81.85They're my favorite =) "The Composition of Color" One of the guys in the pit talks every now and then, it was minimal, so I was happy. Their guard is just amazing.. and the techinical stuff the corp does is crazy.
2
Carolina Crown
79.20Bohemia :D The show included "Seasons of Love" from RENT, and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". It was verrry well done. I'm a fan!
3
Crossmen
75.45For some reason, I don't remember them.. But they got new uniforms.
4
Spirit from JSU
75.10That show was really pretty. "The Architechture of Life"
5
Glassmen
74.90They were really cool! The guard had to change their uniforms in some way like 4 times in the show.
6
Kiwanis Kavaliers
65.45Yay for Lenord Bernstien!
I don't recall which corp it was, but the guard sucked and was wearing black. And I'm boycotting them.
They were warming up behind the stands, and they spun all through the Canadian national anthem, yet stopped for the US's. The Kiwanis are not amused.
