Shooting stars or falling stars?

There does seem to be a difference. It would be best, of course, if we could ask them personally...does it take very much from them to grant the wishes made on them? Is it easier for one or the other...hmm.

Sometimes I think the saying is, pride before a fall, which makes me think, perhaps, stars fall when they've passed a line of sorts, but other times, the light seems almost joyful, which is more a shooting notion, a mark of freedom....

And sometimes, I think they must feel sad to leave the place they come from, but also excited to be going somewhere they've never been.

...which by all respects have feelings as much as the rest of us do---earth for example, she tells us this with clouds and sunshine, and the occasional song.

And sometimes they are people, or beings sort of like people, moving from one place to another.

And other times, they're just stars, but even rocks can have feelings, depending on where the rock is falling from~
