The library really is quite remarkable. I do enjoy how the books move around. They seem happier that way. One in particular, I was just glancing through, and it was interesting to see how other worlds view creatures like the unicorn and the dragon. For some they are just fairy tales and for others they are great prophets, omens of good fortune or destiny. I suppose I would rather it be this way. It would be very narrow minded of the universe to make each world the same.

Still, I am glad they have unicorns here...I have yet to find any thestrals. I imagine, if they wanted to be found, they would though...that's fine of course. It's not just unicorns and dragons of course. The people are different too, good and bad, dead and living, settled and searching.

Though, I do wonder if one day, like some of the great dragons, humans will forget how to use their limbs and then change to accommodate, becoming something else. And what is the difference, legs to walk or wings to fly?

I think it should be very interesting to try one or the other, and a bit possibly impossible to do both at the same time.

There is chocolate pudding again, the last having gone quite quickly. That was much more fun than making it by myself, I admit, hmmm. Anyway there is enough to bring some to others. Tomorrow, maybe.

Oh this is just the thing I was talking about though. These people, from this world, for example, seem to believe that unicorns came into being far after dragons, but they are both unimaginably--or imaginably--ancient in many other places, older than time itself. These differences, I do enjoy them. [ more page turning ] The stables are a very nice place to read, though I am not sure Destrier or his friend are as taken with the stories. I highly recommend them~

oh the places you'll go, animal kind, human nature, love in all things, destrier named destrier, castle in the sky, through the looking glass, more than we seem
