Personal Canon Meme....Again

Apr 02, 2016 16:07

Looking to do my favorite meme again and ask for personal canon prompts. I will give you my headcanon for whatever characters or situation you assign. Choose a number and a character/pairing & I'll take it from there. If something kickstarts my muse, there may even be fic in it. Feel free to pick more than one. My fandoms are in my tags ( Read more... )

I wanna ask about Harry Potter, forgive me!

So, I'm gonna be gready. I hope it's not a problem.

4. Willow Rosemberg and/or Harry Potter; 11 Harry Potter; 15 Hermione Granger.

17. Did Willow read the HP books? (Is canonical that Dawn did) Did she related to Hermione, very predictably? Surprise me!

Aw, I was really hoping to make something out of Willow's "I slept with Riley" as the dramatic bid for Buffy's anger and then, "to cover up my sleazy affair with Angel" as when it heads an obvious joke. BECAUSE IT'S SO FUNNY. Interesting take - but then you always have a thought-provoking and credible perspective.

OOOH, this is short but deeply felt. Pete and Peggy both tried getting in the habits of power-napping in their offices. First, the natural instinct is to fall asleep after drinking so much in the office. With a foggy, stressed out head, the first instinct is search the restorative trick to make the all important dinner/cocktail period for account man Pete and the creative nightgowl hours for creative Peggy as productive as possible. And subliminally, they tried to imitate Don's trick of napping, believing that perhaps its an elixir to his power. However for both of them, it failed. They were both too helped up to fall asleep most of the time. Or if they actually did fall asleep, they'd wake up cranky (which for both of them, IS VERY VERY CRANKY) with a crick in their neck and with the fogginess of drinking turned into an official hangover. Worst of all, they'd emerge stressed out about the lost time and thus, less productive. They both gave up the ghost of power-napping as a career elixir, but of course, they had moments where they'd ( ... )

I totally believe in the crankiness of Peggy and Pete. And that Don's ability to nap is just one more reason for Pete to resent him. 8 ]
