It's Haunting You

I have to say that today was one (if not the) of the laziest days I've had so far this year.

Engineering was minor work, as usual. We finished our drafts and whatnot. History, no test because of the orientation. Sure, I studied and all, but man, was I glad. So, off to the orientation. I sat with Carmen, Esteban, Carlos, and Chris, and bored myself out of my mind listening to the class ring guy. But hey, it meant extra minutes of lunch--too bad a good chunk of it was spent doing English homework. English was probably the highlight of the day. While mostly everyone in the class went to the pep rally, I stayed behind with Matthew and Elvis. We played cards until the pep rally was over, people were screaming in the hallways, and everybody from our class returned. Mrs. Moller had some work planned for us, but then she realized it was Friday afternoon and people weren't really up for any work. Thus, we had free time for the rest of the class. I talked to Matthew, Emma, Chris, and Carla. Topics of our conversation included Matthew breaking his leg while playing with some hobos, the crapstatic Othello interpretation that was the movie O, crack being a dangerous explosive (a joke, of course), and Matthew's heart being crushed by Emma in 9th grade. Emma told me that if she ever created a clothing company, I could be her model--she also gave me this Kill Hannah sticker which she didn't really want anymore. I think I'm starting to become good friends with her. Either way, that's pretty much what happened. Pleasant day--somewhat.

Weekend ahead.
