I saw this on hip_domestics yesterday and thought it was really neat.

It's this new online program that is helping the United Nations' End World Hunger program.  It's called Free Rice ( http://www.freerice.com ).  Basically, you define vocab words correctly  (multiple choice) and get 10 grains of rice credit for each word you get right.   100 grains equals a bowl of rice.   The ad sponsors at the bottom of the page pay for it.  I've  'donated' about 50 bowls of rice since I found out about it, and for anyone practicing for the GREs, it's a great way to hone those vocab skills.  The vocab levels vary depending on your skill, but I haven't been able to consistently get above level 40 (I typically fluctuate between 36 and 39).

It goes really quick, and I like learning new words (or finally figuring out the definition of words I think I know)...

Just thought I'd plug it real quick.
