Cut Copy / The Presets show
Today revolved around a lot of driving, but in the end it was totally worth it. Alonzo, June and I went ticket hunting before the show to buy an extra ticket since the show sold out. We found some guy off Craigslist selling his ticket, but we had to pick it up in Torrance. The drive wasn't TOO bad and it's always exciting meeting people off Craigslist. It's the FUTURE. Yeah, we got to Pomona and had a little pre-party in the parking lot while the opening bands were playing. We were done and inside right before the Presets came on. Cut Copy was super super fun, but the Presets was absolutely mind-blowing. They actually sound even better live than on their album. It made me appreciate their sound and music on a whole new platform. AMAZING. I came out of the venue a complete mess. Hair and clothes juicing in my own sweat. Non-stop passionate dancing! The crowd was really into the set too. The Presets had a total rave-like vibe, but it felt so good even without all the drugs. Epic time! Happy David Alonzo and June Sak were there dancing along side me. Beauty!
