It is almost my birthday, which is exciting. I'm actually going to be going to Disneyland on my birthday (yay for free ticket!), something I have never done before. Also, I was gifted a night's stay at the Grand Californian Hotel, which is supposed to be an experience. Hooray.
I am going to see Demi Lovato in concert NEXT WEEK. I kind of idolize her in a teenager sort of way.
My teaching job has ended, so now I'm just working retail in the evenings and weekends. Not a ton of hours, and not somewhere I want to be for that much longer. But, now it finally feels like summer.
I have a job interview in Arizona for a teaching postion next week as well - in Phoenix actually. This is the first interview I've had for a teaching position in a long, long, long time.
The lease on my apartment is up the beginning of August so it looks like I'm moving. Where am I moving to? Well, if I get a job in Arizona, then Arizona. If not...my back up plan in San Diego. My current roommate's new stepmom has a condo in San Diego that she'll let us live in for FREE while my roommate and I figure out our lives. I am a lucky girl.
Have I mentioned how much I love San Diego? I think it's my favorite city in the world, right after Paris. I guess that means it's a second-favorite city then. Hmm.
For someone that really has no idea what the next few months will hold, I remain optimistic and upbeat.
