APPARENTLY a religious group from Kansas is coming all the way to good old Scottsdale, AZ to protest at my alma matter, Desert Mountain HS because their GLBT club is TOO LARGE. And that will NOT DO. Ohhh, no.
There's going to be a protest right after school with the GLBT club on one side, and those haters on the other side. I am privy to this special information because my sibs still go to said school, and the principal called home to let the parents know about this happening.
I really wish I was in AZ to join in on the protest - because those people are just too ridiculous.
As a side note, I had no idea my high school had such a large GLBT club - that makes me very proud. I certainly don't remember it being that big back in my days. DMHS alums? Yes/No?
