Feel like posting, so I shall

Saturday mornings are lovely.
Although my body was wide awake at 8:45, I stayed in bed and cozied up to the fact that I had all morning to remain under the covers. My cup of coffee was the first in weeks and it tasted delightful, although it will likely make me feel ill later as coffee is known to do due to its lack of anything nutritious and the wonderful way in which it dehydrates.

Scary thought time:
It's been brought to my attention by my own dramatic imagination that within the next year almost everyone will be finishing up school and traveling and getting on with the rest of their lives. We're starting to scatter, and I can only hope that no one chooses to stay in their far off land to never return to this silly little town that tries to be Toronto but really is just the loser's version. I think with Slam and Gomez currently in Europe and knowing that a lot of people have plans to travel when they're finished their undergrad, a variety of emotions start to stir. I am so thrilled that people are actually doing good and productive things with their lives and learning so much from all the experience that a different country can provide. I look forward to when I visit these places in a few years for the same reason. In a way it makes the world seem smaller to know that I know people that are in these places, it makes them seem more accessible to me. But it makes me wonder when/if ever we will all be in the same place at the same time again (not sure who "we" really is anymore even, but I think I have a rough idea). It's sort of overwhelming, sad at times, but also encouraging. We'll just have to arrange a reunion for 10 years from now when we can all show off our accomplishments.

Okay, I really need to come back down to reality now.

I am going to Guelph today to visit some of my favorite people and it will be just like old times when I went to school there, but more importantly, lived and played with my lovers Risa and Alana. Sarah will be joining us for some Guelph styles bar-ing, and that will definitely be a new experience for us all (The Ranch is something that any once-lived Guelphian need not miss, or so I'm told, so we shall see how the line dancing with cowboys plays out).

As for this very moment, I wish it was warmer out so I could go for a walk. In the summer, Saturday mornings are mother-and-daughter-bonding-while-walking time, and I miss that. Too bad we don't have two tredmills and a large mural of a park in the basement.
Therefore, I am restricted to the gym, which is filled with sweaty old people, and sometimes silly wannabe body builders.

So, first things first!
