The last few days were pretty chaotic, not only because I slept 4 hours a night during the last days, but also because I had 2 more exams, while most of my friends had already finished theirs.
Anyway, I still had a good time, and enjoyed some parties. (and took a lot of pics too! :) )
Friday, Ine's aunt and uncle celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
From one part of the family, they got two chickens with cool names, but I do not recall their names right now...
Saturday I studied during the day, but in the evening, I joined my friend at the annual "Kasteelfeesten", where local enterprises promote their regional products (Like my uncle with his Geuze, Kriek, Lambik, Beersel, etc. )
My Uncle (on the right) and his team.
Freddy, with his new D50.
Some bands were playing their best, like Sergio, and they created a wild atmosphere amongst my fellow scouts leaders...
The first day was closed by a fireworks, above the medieval castle...
Sunday, I had to study for my exams, but on monday, the oldest group in our Scouts Group organised a JinCafé togehter with another group (Chiro Alsemberg) to raise some money for their vacation to Slovenia this summer...
It all started pretty relaxed, until most of us got pretty drunk, and started a ropeskipping session..
(this pic was taken at 6 o'clock in the morning! :) )
Tuesday evening, Pili (a Chilean girl who came to Belgium as an AFS student for one year) held her Farewell party.
Ine, Jessie, Pili, Marjorie
On wednesday, I went to see the 'proclamation' of some friends, who graduated from secondary education (or at least had to graduate).
Some parts of the show had something of a scene from Kubricks Eyes Wide Shut ;)
In "De Meent" (our local Event Hall) there was an exhibition from a photographer who had made some prictures about 6 different professions.
One of them was brewing, which resulted in this 1x1 meter big picture:
:)
After the show we went to the prom, and had *some* drinks...
The man next to my sister is my old PE teacher, but now he will be assistent trainer of a second division football team.
that was all (for now), cheers to you all...
