So, I was sewing the tongue back in my second boy's shoe (I don't even know), and I realized I had more than enough pictures to make an update.  And has my TPC family ever had a busy time of it!
We left off with a surprise heir poll, which Beau won.
But before that, there had to be:

The natural results of telescope gazing.

Baby boy Hunter, followed shortly by:

The natural result of make-up woohoo,

Baby girl Shelly, the final member of the generation.  Everyone can heave a sigh of relief.

After school smustle party.  This is bed logistics: the teens will collapse in or out of bed fairly early and wake up before midnight, whereupon the children will take over the beds.  Also, it's a scholarship for anyone fortunate enough to roll knowledge.

Jodie and Jessie get trained--that's Jodie learning to walk.

Lija does the A+ dash.

Must be somebody's birthday.

Horns blowing . . . and it's

Beau, rolling family and generally thinking he's all that.

Jessie, continuing the pajama party theme, and

Of course, Jessie's twin Jodie.

The guests don't want to go out and drink punch.  Brie tries some pyromania to get them outside.

Angelica, that's not cool.  You're almost an adult and he's thirteen.  Angelica is doing it for the aspiration points, as you can see.

Shelly becomes a toddler,

Followed by Hunter.  They are almost twins.

The pseudo twins try a mind meld to speed up their toddler training.  Smart milk is more effective.

Angelica does stupid--she was two days from getting out of here and now won't age up until after the baby is born.

Teddie thoughtfully says what everyone was thinking: "Geeze, Ange, how dumb are you?"

Lydia figures that if Beau is good enough for Angelica, he's good enough for her, and she's curious.  Lyd is the one knowledge sim in the house.

Very curious, but a bit smarter.  No chimes for Lyd.

Several teens and children want to go hiking.  Jody hauls them out.

"Angelica, you need to consider your options.  Beau's going to be a teen for a long time yet, and you'll be an adult very soon.  It's not going to be easy to start out with a baby and no money."
"I'm not giving my baby up for adoption."

"If you want, Jody and I will raise your baby.  Our grandbaby.  You know we've always had enough, even if it's not much, and you wouldn't have to worry about daycare.  You can visit any time."

"Okay, Brie.  I'll let you raise mine and Beau's baby."

Before the baby's due, though, it's time for another birthday or three.  This time I hold it on the lawn because the traffic issues last time were horrendous.

Lija's up first, and becomes a fortune sim, like his step-daddy Jody.  I guess we know who he thinks his most important influence is.

Shelly's up next.

Where Shelly leads, Hunter at least attempts to follow.  Um, Jody?  I thought you knew how to do this by now!

And now that all of her kids are more-or-less capable of surviving without adult assistance, it's Brie's turn.  I'd say she was happy to not have any more babies, being a romance sim, but you saw above how throughally her secondary of family squashed that primary.

Looking good, and definately not aging too gracefully.  Nope, Brie's going to hang onto her misspent youth as long as she can.  She had so very much fun, why would she want to change?

Jody ensures it's a roof raiser, and why is my buy/build disabled?  I want to put the table back in the house, oh . . .

Note, please, that there is no fire alarm.  Brie was too broke at first, and, well, this is the first fire we've had.  Also note where the phone is.

I judge it not possible to call the department without catching a sim on fire.  Almost everyone's outside anyway, thanks to Brie aging up.  Which is probably how some never-to-be-identified sim got sidetracked from cooking anyway.

The inferno keeps spreading.  I've locked all the doors.

Some sims have coping skills.  Jodie clearly hopes the aliens will take her away.

Some, like Willis, would have done better to skip the last part of the party and go to bed.  That's what Jessie did, spent the entire fire sound asleep locked in her room.  One of the teens (Morgan, I think) was in  the tub when I realized there was a fire and spent the fire in the bathroom.

Brie and Jody only got a little chilled, but otherwise, stayed nicely energized.  Thank you, genie!

I don't know if the smart milk fireproofed the fridge or if sim fridges are immune to fire.  At one point the fridge looked like it was on fire, but it was still standing.  First simolean awards burn.  Paintings burn.  Photobooth pics burn.  Date flowers burn.

The fire burned all night.  The school bus came and I managed to get Jessie safely out to it.  The teen in the bathroom got to stay there, unconcious by the toilet.

I've never had a fire as bad as this before.

Angelica was absolutely miserable, red all over, but somehow didn't lose the baby.  I have no idea--I've never had a pregnant sim in that bad of shape not lose the baby.

Brie and Jody took some of the older teens (Angelica froze on the way to the car and the one was still locked in the bathroom) and the dogs down to Pricemart.  There's a hotdog booth where they could feed themselves, sinks where some could sponge bathe or at least wash hands, and even toilets.  Probably that first--the booth--kept them alive.
And Brie and Jody needed to replace the photobooth pictures.  The one of Peter won't be back--he keeps slapping Brie for checking up on him with the telescope and she hates his guts.

Brie buys a pretty new dress.  Because, when your trailer is in the process of being gutted by a fire, new dresses fix everything.

When they got home, Toffee has her puppies.  There are three, Fuzzy and two others.

Finally the fire is out.  Those who can start on the clean-up work.  The others keep sleeping on the porch or stompy wave at whoever's in the bathroom.

"Daddy, Daddy!  I got an A+"

"Me too, Daddy, me too!  Jessie and I do everything together!"

Brie unpacks her inventory into the fridge--I was hoping to upgrade it, but that's going to have to wait.

And whips up a batch of comfort soup.  They have cheap beds and cheap chairs, the comfort boost is needed.

Lyd has her scholarships and has graduated high school.  Time to get the heck out of town!

Everyone is sad to see her go.  Especially Beau.

Jody decides he needs a vacation instead of finding a new star.  Not to worry, he's only two or three days to elder, there will not be another baby.

"Hey aliens?  Do you think I could come visit you with my daddy?"

And it's baby-time!  There are two new babies in the family.  So we have one teen leave for college and one new adult move out, but they're replaced immediately.

And since I have no baby picture, here are Angelica and Beau's twins as toddlers.  Blond is Lucia and red is Gabriel.  And the next generation is underway, even though their Daddy is still in middle school.
