reconsidering my childhood
Ok, so my elementary class is finding itself on Facebook. Of the 30ish who were in the "Academically Talented Program" (or extra-work program), about 5 males and 3 females have linked up so far. The class was about even M/F, which is interesting now that I think of it.
Of the 5, 3 identify as gay, one bi, and one is married and hasn't yet said he's not straight.
I believe one of the three was one of the many who made fun of me and other boys for being too friendly with other boys (in a non-sexual way).
Certainly the kids not in the ATP said we were gay (or other 1970s terms). It's wierd to find how right they were.
