Deadlines
This afternoon at 6pm I suddenly realized that in 42 days I have to have:
- five applications filled out
- official transcripts requested and delivered
- 3 letters of recommendation from 3 over worked professors requested, completed, and sent
- 1 2500 word personal statement outlining my life goals written, proof read, rewritten, slightly altered for each application, and emailed.
- 4 additional essays written and sent to their respective schools
- 1 resume and 1 curriculum vita written and sent
- official GRE scores requested for each school
- GPA for my major, for the past two years, and for what other combination they come up with calculated.
Not to mention that I should be schmoozing the professors I want to work for until the applications are sent and completing my own school work in the meantime.
Why did it take me till the middle of October to realize that December's going to arrive?
