A comedy focusing on Kondo Asami, a 33-year-old single woman who lives with her parents and works at the local city hall, and suddenly finds herself starting her life over from scratch. It happens out of a sudden and Asami finds herself on a bed in an obstetrics and gynecology clinic, where she meets her young parents and begins her life all over again. (Source: DramaWiki -2023)
Favorite Jdrama of 2023 :) It's been a while since I found such a refreshing, original plot in a Jdrama. And Ando Sakura is just a breeze of fresh air. She is awesome in dramatic roles, and she is awesome in comedies. I think she is the only actress that excels in these type of genre equally (the only actor that comes to my mind who is comparable to her is Abe Hiroshi). Even her voice is funny, but funny in a friendly way. And I love her sarcasm in the series XD
I think every episode was amazing. It just kept getting better. And I love, LOVE, the chit-chat between her and her friends. It was like they were not acting, like the director told them "talk about anything at all" and they just did. The flow was so natural! Awww I want a group of friends like them ^_^ Ep09 made me teary eye with how happy Mari-chan and Asami got when the other 2 girls joined them for dinner <3 And I love the nostalgic feeling in the entire drama: from the songs to the drama they mentioned, to the small things they did (US did) in their childhood (the stickers, tamagotchi, the journal they completed, etc).
And all the cameos! And not only cameos, but small roles going to award-winning actors/actresses. Like Fuku-chan (and his song Ikenai Tayou XD). And the child-actors were really good too, cute and not awkward at all, and no over-acting.
I admit the last episode was the least exciting... it was a bit lackluster in comparison to the others. But the final couple of minutes were so funny, the 4 girls being old women and then reincarnated into pigeons XD
