When Li Shi Qing awoke that fateful morning, she had no idea her life was about to change forever. But when the bus she was on was involved in a horrendous accident, Shi Qing had only seconds to realize that her life was about to end. Or was it?
Waking up that very same morning, going through the exact same motions, boarding the same bus, and dying in the same accident, over and over again, Shi Qing soon realizes that she has become trapped in a never-ending time loop. Desperate to find a way to escape not only the loop but her tragic fate, Shi Qing inadvertently drags fellow bus passenger, Xiao He Yun, into the loop with her. Together they try to find a way to alter their fate, by ensuring the bus arrives safely at its destination but attempting to do so proves anything but easy.

Very fast-paced drama, I was on the edge of my seat 90% of the time. It keeps being interesting and suspenseful, from beginning to end. I think the least "exciting" episode was ep14 (?) which is the background of why it happened. And the last episode seems straight out of a Cold Case episode: the slow-mo, the epilogue for each character; the dead person looking at the MC with a smile, finally resting in peace, the songs...
I think this is a great start to watch Cdrama if you are curious because it is exciting, short and with excellent acting. The lead Shi Qing was amazing! A very young actress that acts maturely. And a very good MC, she is never hysteric but composed and while being empathic, she also uses her head. Even more than the male lead, which was WOW. This time is the male lead that is more nervous and more the damsel in distress.
I loved to see all those characters from Nirvana in Fire. Seems like most of them were just a cameo/fan service (like the actor for Li Gang or Xia Dong.. they had like, 2 lines each). Liu Yi Jun is always amazing, what an actor! but I also like the lady in the bus too... she was so scary but when she cried with desperation... wow.
Truthfully the acting was excellent. Plot, story telling, edition. Even the product placement was smooth and not over the top, which I appreciate it (the water bottle + the car). Ending song performed by Zhou Shen.
If I have to say the negative points, one is the OP sequence (not really negative, but like, disappointing), it looked a bit cheap and not exciting. And the other is, why did they make Xiao He Yun being weaker and weaker through each episode? It didn't make any sense at the end.
**My rating: 9.5/10**
