shopping

The next day, Temari and I went shopping.

It appears that shopping is the mannerism of buying stuff in a large facility called a "mall" that contains multiple shops and is air conditioned. It is a nice place; there are some places in there I especially like.

At first I felt rather cautious considering that perhaps the clerks there wouldn't accept my money because of being Kazekage of course Ino would love the idea of getting free clothes and merchandise. So after Temari explained the basics of this business to me, we first went to the clothing store. I originally intended to get a few new clothes seeing as the Sand's Desert Sun Festival is coming soon (its a tribute to the sun rising in the desert, a sign of hope to us). However, Temari brought to me a huge stack of clothes and after an hour, I had it down to about twenty new pieces of clothing. We paid and left to a weapons store, discussing things on the way.

I got a new holder for my gourd. It's a nice, smooth silk like material that is rather tight. And Temari got a new fan that is made of a good, strong material and suits her Kuchiyose it was rather pricey though. And after getting that, she decided to opt to discussion about development of a romantic social life with the captain of the guards (my security chief), which I promptly declined because of my inexperience with people. But I said I would consider talking to her, seeing as she was doing a good job with training the guards, and that I'd be lying to myself if I said she wasn't pretty. And then she proceeded to get carried away, wishing for me to have children and there was where I drew the line.

We then reached the Anime and Manga store. I proceeded to grab multiple animes and manga such as Prince of Tennis, FLCL, Perfect Blue and Gundam Seed. Temari nabbed her wants and then, I saw just how much money she had. I said that Perfect Blue was suggested by the head of the guards, and we left for the jewelry store. And along the way of course, sister was questioning if I did anything with the chief, talked to her, etc. and of course she got no.

After buying a necklace adorned with a single emerald, we left. I left feeling quite satisfied and happy; she felt the same.

I had a great time.

OOC: the desert sun festival...i'll post something on it in narutorpplot
