(no subject)
Well Nathan is finally here, and we are having a great weekend. right now he is out bonding with the parents over a war movie so I thought I would get in a little update. friday after we picked Nathan up from the airport we went to the LDS temple in oakland, then went to visit my grandparents, but we got lost. it took two hours to get there and it really should have only taken like half an hour. we ended up driving into san fransisco and not being able to get out really for about an hour. i finally cracked under traffic and let amber drive which was probably better for all of our mental health. so we eventually got to visit my grandparents and we spent about three or four hours there which was great. my grandpa is so funny and my grandma just adds to his funniness. they bought us a lunch of some kick butt chinese food (way better than jade garden) and we ate then had birthday cake for dessert. they bought one for me when they found uot that I was coming to visit (awww) so then we went to the ferry landing and took the ferry over to the piers in san fransisco. we went to pier 39 and had fun just looking onto all the shops. after that we took the ferry back and drove home, I was so tired, Nathan drove and i slept. I felt awful about that. then yesterday we went to burney falls. well first we stopped at the subway caves and then went to burney falls. it wa so pretty and we took Beth and Dean. it was so fun to hang out with beth. She had us laughing the whole way there. then we came home and rented a few movies, like scary movie one and two and not another teen movie and watched acouple of those after we went swimming. it has been a great weekend. don't you all wish you could be having as much fun as we are having? yeah I know but I guess we all can't have weekends like this all the time, that would just not be fair, someone has to be jaelous. but don't worry you will all have plenty of opportunities to make me jealous about your weekends. hope the rest of yours goes well.
