For those of you who were wondering.....
...Mark came through his sinus surgery really well. He was feeling rough for a few days, but he is 100% now. Better than 100% actually- according to him he feels "almost like I am breathing too well. I feel like I could snort a ping pong ball". Now that is a sexy mental image...
The night before his surgery we drove to Asheville (which is a 3 hour drive) to see Secret Chiefs 3, a band we adore. We also ate at a little noodle house there that is fantastic. We got back back really late, but it was totally worth it. I was exhausted on the drive back, but Mark kept me laughing a lot (and thus awake). I love that even after being together for four years he still makes me laugh harder than anyone I know.
I beat God of War 2 last night...finally. Woo hoo. That game was so awesome and violent! This weekend I am going to play the new Paper Mario game (I freakin' love that series). God I am such a nerd.
Zod had his first trip ever to a groomer yesterday! I usually give him a bath myself, but he wiggles a good bit (he hates water) and it is near impossible to get him wet (and once he is wet it is near impossible to get him dry). Besides, my back has been hurting a lot lately and the last thing I want to do is bend over a tub wrestling with my nugget of a dog. Zod's latest trick is giving high five's....now if only I could figure out how to get him to scramble eggs.......
I need music recommendations! I am dying to hear something new, so please leave me a comment with a short list (5 perhaps?) of albums I should download. I will do so and let you know what I think.
