please God...
No more CT scans! Espcially with IV contrast. OMG it hurt/burned sooo badly! It leaves this horrible metallic taste in your mouth. Someone told me that it's equivalent to a hot flash and if that's true I refuse menopause!
On the brighter side, I did get to meet a fascinating gentleman. His name is James and he was there for a CT as well but he had to drink the Barium stuff instead. (eww.) We started talking about random stuff like Michael Jackson and Terri Schaivo, then the conversation went to his pets. He owns 2 Nile Monitors, a Coral snake, 3 rattle snakes, 2 water mocassins, and some others that I forgot. He really was very cool. He has cancer and used to drink (but has been off the sauce for 20 something years). He showed me pictures of his monitors (they are soooo cool!) It made me miss my snake. I wish my dad hadn't given her away when he kicked me out! (jerk.)
