Guess where I was for Valentine's day???
I have to say, this year I had a Valentine's day not a "Black Tuesday."
First of all....I WENT TO MECCA!!! That's right, my four floors of shopping heaven. Better still, Drew met me there. Even though he was really sick, he still met me for lunch and a little shopping. Talk about the love of a friend :)
After Mecca, I went to my cousin's house for some playtime with my favorite little man. That would be my godson Josh...yes, the boy in the picture I was showing everyone on Monday. There is just something magical about children. We openned the Valentine cards he got from his classmates, then played downstairs, then watched a movie. He even asked that we put on his sing a long Disny DVD so I could see him dance.
Sometimes I get really depressed. As I get older, it sometimes is hard to see families with children and wonder why I don't have that yet. I have never wanted anything more than I want that. Then I remember that everything happens in its own time, not just whenever I want it to happen. The wait will be worth it when it happens.
Until then, I have great friends. I have my little man to shower me with love and joy. That is enough. That makes me happy.
