(no subject)
So i have to buy a car.
It is taking too much frusterating time to learn standard...and neither my mom or i really have time...so we have decided that instead i will be buying an automatic.
we went to a couple of car lots yesterday...and my favorite so far is a ford escort for $2000. it is aqua with purple graphics...which is clearly the selling point for me.
the other one that i liked was a chevette for $1450...but i've been discouraged from buying that one...i'm told they are unreliable.
I have people all over looking for me though, michelle's dad is keeping his ears open in abbotsford...and my dad knows a mechanic in victoria, and a girl that i work with is dating a mechanic and also selling a car..in my price range, that's apparently in good condition.
now i just need to talk to the bank about getting a loan. i have an appointment for sept 30th, which is good because i have a paycheck on sept 29 that isn't going towards anything...so now it is going towards paying a big chunk off my RSP loan from january so that i can say that i am significatly ahead of paying off that loan, therefore comvince them to give me a bgger loan this time.
aaaand, i just got through to the student loan people and got answers! you can have a car that has a resale value under $5000, and it does not count as an asset. AND you can have $2000 of rsp's per year after the age of 19 and it will not count against you! i am 21, so i can have up to $6000 in rsp's without counting!
and i have my doctors appointment tomorrow morning to get some actual results about what we are going to do about my neck.
and i am starting a yoga class this evening
and i am going to victoria this weekend..and i am going to have tonnes of fun! and tonnes of shopping!
