This summer i plan to read fifty books - that is the challenge, which i don't really expect to meet. "Summer" is the period that extends from now to september fifth, when i tragically resume classes at Columbia

18.Lolita by Nabokov
19.Living by Fiction by Annie Dillard (talks about art and post-modernism and lots more lovely pretentious intellectual stuff, it's great)
20.Words and Music by Paul Morley
21. Orientalism by Edward Said (i have not read the whole thing but what I have read is v. interesting)
22. The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir

24.Maupassant- Bel Ami
25.The God of small things (che avrai già letto)
26.Nietzche- The Gay Science
27.Notes from Underground (especially la parte dove parla del homme de la nature e de la verité)
28. L'autobiografia di Nabokov (della quale però non mi ricordo il titolo)
29.Baricco- Novecento (un libro stupendo che si legge in 1 ora)

devo confessare che di lei conosco veramente poco...giusto tre canzoni: human behavior, i have seen it all (con thom yorke), e venus as a boy. Quindi scegli tu! Io e Sarah ci vediamo venerdì per andare a pranzo e poi al museo Macro, vieni con noi? Ho anche due libri da consigliarti!
