odd joy
sooo...day 10. Doing okay. Got my e-ciggie. Trying not to leave the house...doing just fine.
What caused me such odd joy today was meeting a gaggle of girls from my alma mater...hahah. I'm not ashamed of what I'm doing..because I feel very proud to have a job during these times and on top of that in Chicago! I work with some incredibly intelligent women with incredible degree's..
but anyways these girls were typical spoiled brats that are often found at art schools...
I saw one of them had some gear with our logo and i said "oh! you went to the school i graduated from!" all 3 of them suddenly took a double take...they suddenly started asking "well....what did you study????"I found out two of them study what I studied....I like giving people a reality check.
I spent loads of time talking to a co-worker about what our next steps.
I can't afford myself these days....Hardly. I love Mihai but with his dreams..it could seem that we are not going to be comfortable for some time.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
OH! but fun news I'm working at a huge event this weekend for a friend! Luckily I have incredibly driven friends who's missions I absolutely admire so any chance I get to sneak in and help them with those dreams i'm psyched! Poor Mihai..what this job entails is me dressing super hot (basically the front plunges near my navel and is covered with a mesh with hearts and then I'll be wearing a lab coat) it's also fifties themed so my hair will be set in curls at noon in the afternoon to go by 7 pm. I also love that my friend invited me to be a part of this after i lost about 20 pounds..kind of a cool ego boost.
I had my first junk food night in almost a month and will never do it again..i'm old and it hurt...so it's back to lentils and raw veggies for snacks!
but oh yeah..this event is this huge event a really cool venue in Chi that people have to pay atleast 200 dollars to get into....I LOVE people and can't wait to meet some insane figures.
I ran into a super crunchy friend this week and she looked at me before i said anything and said "you quit smoking...your vibe is soooo calm!"
I'll be home for 4 days in March! I believe the 5th of March!
Can't wait to see my Houston loves..and to get rid of hs shit in my room (going home to clean out my room and give to charity..I have the smarts now to understand in the future i'll have to lug my stupid stuff with me everywhere better to start organizing now)
