woooooooooaaaahhh! So I e-mailed Jeffrey Brown because i was fairly certain I taught him and his child (in his comics) about Rhinos...I just felt his vibes...OH OH OH for those of you who don't know who he is he is a autobiographical comic artist. Or *ahem* a sequential artist!
Anywho I've read his work since junior year of highschool...I always felt very close to him and have read many of his books about a 100 times.
And wellll, He wrote back! And not just a simple "yes" or "no" he actually wrote an e-mail with questions back for me...ack! I'm still spinning from it.
Poor Mihai, last night I wouldn't stop talking about how i just used to have such a major crush on him..and how he was just as i thought he would be when i met him. Extremely sweet and kind. Even in his e-mail he was incredibly bashful.
This is a man who's made posters and music videos for bands like Death Cab For Cutie. He is just so down to earth!
I'm not acting down to earth right now. I'm planning on offering his family a tour of the zoo and free admission to the Children's Museum. As long as I can continue to keep my cool around him, it will be A Okay! This makes me really want to make comics again.
This makes me want to e-mail all my hero's! I realize in my mind I tout them to be these crazy special people but they are people...accccck
and just to be a lil bit creepy
I'm now going to start contacting (slowly) my heros! and maybe i'll start doing something extraordinary..i feeel so electric right now!! alsdjkfpaoijsfojaw!
