Smart People is a semi terrible movie, but it is so authentically Pittsburgh that I have watched it over and over again. It is like they went everywhere I hold dear in the city and filmed a scene in it. They filmed in my freshman dorm building, in all the buildings and classrooms where I had classes, on the street where I lived as a sophmore, even in the goodwill I frequented. It makes me sad to see everything again, I guess because I wasn't ready to move on when I left that city, but I can't help but watch. If you have seen the movie, I swear, not everyone at Carnegie Mellon is depressed.
