I saw the cutest and perhaps most disturbing thing this afternoon at the MCA. I came upon a piece titled "Sympathy for the Devil" by Adam Pendleton and this boy no more than 5 or 6 walked up to one of the panels to point out to mom what he saw. And just to give you some visuals, the piece is made up of 27 panels and on the bottom row middle panel is a woman's figure, showing her breasts with wide smiles in place of the nipples. Clearly the little boy was excited; mom on the other hand just looked away in disgust and tried to get her little man away from the piece. But away he did not wish to go and instead grabbed what I presume were his slightly older sisters and without saying a word, pointed at the image. The girls gasped for 2.2 seconds and without any adieu they turned in unison with looks of disgust on their faces. And then a few moments later a tall black guy looked at the piece and said "I don't understand this shit."
