Going to go check out
The Number 23 In reviews of the movie, IMDB has more favorable and in depth reviews than Yahoo! movies. Never saw Jim Carrey in a non-comedic role. Should be interesting.
Sadly but not necessarily badly, I go alone.

Enjoyed this movie, for the following reasons:
1. Jim Carrey - engaged to see him in a mostly non-comedic role still giving us a few of his shins..
2. Obsessions. How we forget how real they are to us, even when they are not good for us.
3. Memories, and trauma. Wow. Who knows what kind of crazy things any one of us might be holding inside.
4. Healing. This movie was about healing, or at the very least about the ways we suffer and repair damaged connections.
5. Good story, cleverly arranged, excellent cinematography. Some may complain about certain elements used to convey dreams and distant thoughts, but I felt they were pretty dead on. Who knows anyway what those kinds of things are like for you in your non-visual brain imagery? This is where the artsy people got to explore their inner thoughts on this one.. I think it worked.
That's all for now. Maybe more later.
