Conversation on Trillion tonight.

My response to backburner's question, "What have you done today?"

I woke up and survived another day.
That is what I have done today.

then I decided to go into more detail

I went to work. I signed up to be a mentee in my company' career mentoring program. I had lunch with a friend, who was my mentor 1 year ago. I like having lunch with her, it's very fun and totally informal. Plus we both smoke, so it's great to sit at the Marquette Inn, sipping some coffee and not worrying about having nicotine fits in the middle of lunch. While I wrote that I started thinking that I haven't gotten my friend a gift, I need to do that. I performed a lot of mindless transactions moving money I'll never see in my lifetime. I started thinking about my school debt here and how I need to go see somebody this week to get matters squared away. And then I rode a very packed #135 bus home, where I kept being annoyed by the lazy and this is my spot and I'm not going to move for nothing because I can hold on to the vertical pole - people . UGH. When I got home, I sat at the glass table and looked out the window, with no particular focus. A little later I got out the vacuum cleaner and hosed down the cat.

Err, I mean the cat hair off the futon and the comfy purple sofa. Then I played with Star, the cat with her new realistic furry mice toes. Then I figured she could use some catnip and so I gave her some. After she polished that off, I brushed her and that made her happy. I just now thought about the fact that I really need to get Star de-clawed soon, just the front ones mind you, I am 99.9999998 percent confident that she's not going to escape the 28th floor. I then just remained on my back for a little while and stared at the ceiling, again with no particular focus in mind. Then I came into my office and called up MSNBC to view a few news videos. I see "Screech" from Saved by the Bell created an uproar with his revelations of a sex tape. Some of his recent photos make him look vaguely attractive. Then I got bored with that and started looking around on el jay and made a few comment posts. Then I loaded up Trillion and started chatting with you.
