(no subject)
I've been ushering for the Madison Early Music Festival (60 dollars worth- 3 shows- of tickets for free, and all I have to do is block off the first three rows of mills hall for festival donors!), which has been absolutely fantastic. All of the Handel has inspired me to pick up my violin again, and somehow shifting into third and fourth position is easier now, after years of neglect. I need to find some sheet music to print out, right now all I have is the New World Symphony.
I've just finished 1984 and the Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy (just the first one, I'm going to have to finish the series after I get back from Belgium, I think.. although they are fast reads, I could probably finish before I leave)
I can't decide whether to bring my guitar abroad... I don't want to go without playing for 6 months, but I also don't want it to get stolen or broken.
I'm almost ready to start compiling an address list for postcards, so feel free to leave your address in a comment if you want a postcard.
