First off, may I suggest making use of livejournal's 'light' format? Shown here in the FAQ, working with this entry, for example - no white on gray. If I get enough people complaining about difficulty reading, I'll go ahead and disable custom comment pages completely, so light won't have to be required.
Now, to your crit! I'm curious as to how you think he should be less creepy; looking at canon, Nemesis is a very intimidating character, speaking of things such as the death of 3/4ths of the world without so much as batting an optic. He's also absolutely heartless (not the KH kind) when it comes to murderdeathkilling. Can you give me a specific example of how I'm playing him too creepy?
As for speaking less; to be fair, he's only had so much showing, and most of that was with his interaction with fellow Dead Universians. And Spotlight: Hardhead shows that he's anything but silent when speaking with Jhiaxus. Doubledealer and Sideswipe show that he's more than comfortable giving Evil Speeches.
On another read of that comment, speaking less as I want and more as canon wants - again, can you give me some examples? I'm trying to use canon for my foundation, but I ask you to bear in mind that he's in extremely different circumstances than he was portrayed in the comics. This, however, is no excuse for OOC behavior, and if you have points that conflict with how he was shown in the comics I'd love to hear them.

I belive that it was in the first few posts/threads of his - mainly with one of the Megatrons, I am thinking. I do not have them earmarked, I am sorry. I believe that was was standing out what the way you told how he saw the Darkness as a Pet? My view was that he say is as a tool, not pet. Unless I am misterperting English. If so, I am sorry. I have yet to read recent.
In the speaking less, I am unsure, but perhaps the word is eloquent? You say, personally, that he is middle class. I feel that perhaps his voice is to high class for such. Also, I gained recently hands on Shattered glass material, and as I a fan of Galaxy Force, I find perhaps... Nemesis Primes Voice is tainted with Evil Optimus Prime and somewhat of Vector Prime. I am unsure if you know the character of Vector, so perhaps you do not know.
I do understand that he has been uprooted, so, mayhaps..

A pet? Hmm. The vibe I'm trying to work with is that Nemesis considers the Darkness anything but his master. As per Spotlight Sideswipe, he does throw a bit of a fit when he goes 'I command you to stop!' and 'I command the Darkness...not you.' On some level, I imagine he's aware that he'd the servant - it gives HIM power, all he gives IT is a vessel. Overtly, though, it seems to me that he wouldn't want to admit it - and why not show that it is at his beck and call? Or give off that impression. Anything that makes him seem more powerful.
You don't admit weakness - unless you're hiding a bigger one, or if it makes you look good.
His trivia page notes that he is from middle class - complete fanon, mind you, which is not true canon and I am not advertising it as such. However, playing off that idea, I also see him as adapting quickly to becoming Prime and taking on the mannerisms of the higher classes he was around. It's not uncommon for someone of a lower class to emulate the higher class when they're around them, and over time, this can become as natural as breathing.
As for the two characters you've pointed out...I'm going to assume you're not aware that I've played both SGOptimus and Vector Prime in the past (though talk about your coincidences!), and point out some differences.
One, SGOptimus is batshit insane. He's a force of chaos wearing a mask of order, and my writing with him strives to reflect this repression.
Two, Vector has no mask, but he's also very old. His word choice is more archaic.
Nemesis Prime's word choice is based on his arrogance in the comics - there's a nice speech in Spotlight: Hardhead when he's with Jhiaxus that shows he knows big words, and he's not afraid to use them. THAT is my main influence with Nemesis speaking 'high class', and I quote (capitalization my own, since comics are allcaps);
"The situation on Cortata-Vaz is regrettable, but ultimately containable. Thunderwing is the very epitome of unstoppable force and immovable object. However, the exposure or loss of Nightbeat at such a critical stage would entail direct action on my part, something I wish to avoid at all costs. Jhiaxus...see to this personally!"
LATER;
"This necessitates a confrontation I had wished to defer until it was far too late to affect the Expansion in any way, shape, or form. It seems I must do what Nightbeat was meant to...and eliminate Optimus Prime."
Seems quite eloquent to me!
With all that said - you're bringing up your view a lot. While there's no canon that refutes yours, there's also no canon that refutes mine insomuch as I can tell. I respect that you have a different thought of playing this character, but as it stands - and man, this is gonna sound pissy, but it's the truth and I'm honestly not trying to come off as a b- - my application was accepted, not yours. I've yet to have any players or mods come up to me with issues.
I guess what I'm trying to say there is that my spin is as valid as yours, when it comes down to it. :) We both have our opinions. Again, mine is not refuted by canon. Ergo, he isn't OOC that you've convinced me.
Again, if you've got examples that show he is and this isn't a matter of opinion vs opinion, I welcome them! And, again, I'm sorry this last bit could come off as snappish, because it's NOT what I'm trying to convey. As it is, you haven't convinced me that I'm doing anything wrong.
