I'm considering dropping the class I'm taking this semester. I found out last night that I don't qualify for aid this semester, since I have to be signed up for a minimum of 4 credits in order to qualify, and of course, each class is worth 3 credits. Of course. So yeah, without aid, I'd be paying $800 this semester out of pocket, which I could technically do, but that would mean eliminating all my discretionary income for the next half a year, and I can not do that. I can't. I'll go completely nuts. Plus, as it stands, if I take this class, that will two for next semester, and one for the summer, meaning I would once again be disqualified for aid during the summer. So... I'm thinking since this class is also offered in the summer, I should drop it now and take it in the summer, meaning I would qualify for aid both next semester and the summer, and still finish when I had initially anticipated.
I'm just hoping that the classes are offered at the local annex, because having to travel into Cambridge once a week presents its own set of problems. Sigh.
I'm just so ready for this degree program to be over.
