Pamapalooza - Day One
Everything is going so splendidly so far. Last night, after my 11 hour shift, I wanted to get some drinks, so I called Nora and Andy out of the blue, and they (miraculously) agreed to go to 'Ideal Bar' (an awesome dive bar) and have a few with me. That place is awesome. I had some whiskey, they had some beer, and we had lots of awesome conversation. Got home around 1:30, ate a bunch of chips, and realized "Holy shit! It's April 1st! I can work on my screenplay now!"
Wrote one page and called it a night, lol.
Woke up today, wrote another 11 pages, and it's only 3:00, haha. Gabe's home today, too, but he's really busy on schoolwork, so I'm hiding out in my room listening to video game music, writing, web surfing, and taking cat naps if need be. The spirit of Pamapalooza is indeed in the air.
Some other things I'm hoping to accomplish over the next 10 days:
- Finish my mushroom rug
- Edit my novel
- Finish more crochet projects.
- Hang out with people.
- See movies.
- Paint.
See? Super easy going. So happy. So so happy.
Slightly unrelated, but Gabe gave me my birthday present today! He crafted a large dragon egg out of carboard and duct tape, then filled it with yarn! I think he got me like 15 skeins of yarn O_O! They're really nice, too, because I always buy really super crazy bright colors, and everything he bought me is more mellow, which I think is nice. My yarn collection needs it. I am kind of overwhelmed though...what projects am I going to make?! SO MUCH YARN. Really happy, though ^_^
Tomorrow I don't really have any plans, but since Gabe will be out of the house for most of the day, I think I'm going to clean the house, since I'm really overdue, and I wouldn't mind having a nice clean house to be in for the next week.
Life is so good. I love you, staycation.
Also, I REALLY enjoy screenplay writing. I've based my main character almost entirely off of my 15-year-old self, minus the loudness. Also, I didn't have the power to summon demons from another realm, so I guess we both have a few differences ;P
Gonna go shower, and then resume screenplay writing ;) Might get to 25 pages today ahahaha
