As usual, it's been a good bit of time since last I wrote in here. OMG, I totally forgot about FNM in the area. Summer has kept me busy but I had this past Friday off. Dang! Too bad for your friend, although it sounds like you kicked some butt. With weddings, Women seem to always be more stressed because it has to be perfect.

Agreed (on the weddings). I'm glad I'm the guy in the situation, and right now we're hoping to have sons (when we have kids).

I probably won't make any magic events for a while due to the whole newlywed thing, but when I start to get back on the scene I'll try to keep in touch and perhaps we can frequent the same haunt once or twice. If you hear of any older formats (legacy or vintage) at any of the stores you go to regularly, let me know. I'd love to try my hand at those.

I have not been card shopping in SOOOOO long. I really need to get out and do that soon. My cardboard addiction needs a fix.

Where are you going for your honeymoon? Hopefully somewhere far from this dreary city.

We're actually taking a cruise in Hawaii. Then we're going to confine ourselves to this dreary city (and other dreary, or somewhat-less-dreary, cities within driving range) for some time to keep from breaking the bank. :-)

I have never been to Hawaii. That sounds like a blast. If you are visiting cities around the area, Chicago is only 7 hours away and lots of fun.

We went to Chicago in October and had a lot of fun. We didn't get to ANY museums :( so we'll have to go again and catch some art.

The Field Museum had a wonderful King Tut exhibit. Don't bother with the planetarium. It was boring. The Museum of Science and History is great.

That does sound good. I was able to get to one of the museums once upon a time. It would be really nice to go back again.
