Weekend
Saturday -
Slept in until 9, which was nice. Then I had a package to get to the post office before they closed at noon, but when I got there the line was back up to the door. So I decided it would be good enough to get it out on Monday instead of on Saturday. I got in some accordion practicing, and played some World of Warcraft until about 2 when I headed out to LV. Mel and I visited a few hotels for wedding planning purposes and then had our marriage counciling session. I felt that it went very well. Then, because it was her dad's birthday, Mel's uncle (who is catering our wedding) made some of the best meat that I've ever had in my life. I'm very excited about him being our caterer now. Good thinking, Mel, to invite him. We hung out at the Hambleton's place until about 9:15 and then headed for our respective homes.
Sunday -
Church was good this morning. The pastor finished a good series on the Beatitudes. Crumpets was also fantastic! The weather was great, and we only got in 2 games because they were both epic. We had about 15 people there, which is a record for recent crumpets. Mel and I played catch afterwards, which I haven't done since middle school. I just got a new glove for Christmas, so that was a good time. Then we ate dinner and watched some bits of Fantasia. In all, a splendid weekend. And today is the release date for Guildpact! :-) Any day now, I should be receiving a couple of boxes!
