Frost School of Music in Salzburg: Teacher Recommendations?
Can anyone recommend a teacher in the Frost School's Salzburg program? I have to give them 3 choices pretty soon. My first is Cynthia Hoffmann, cuz she's a mezzo and so am I. And you know, the Juilliard thing. ;-) I think my 2nd choice is gonna be Mary Schiller, but I'm not sure.
Has anyone done this program who can give me some insight or recommendations? The full options are:
Mary Schiller (lyric coloratura soprano)
Steve Rainbolt (baritone)
Esther jane Hardenbergh (lyric soprano)
Cynthia Hoffmann (mezzo)
Patricia Wise (lyric coloratura soprano)
Clifford Billions (tenor)
I'd generally prefer to study with a woman, but I'd be willing to make an exception if either of those men are really fabulous.
