(no subject)
Friday night: we got to orlando.. checked into our rooms and such.. then we got to use the pool... so we swam.. and then we had a catered italian dinner.. poolside.. and had cake and everything. it was great. then we went in the hot tub. everyone went up to their rooms.. except me and emily who stayed in the hot tub till this huge bug the size of my hand flew in.. and then we got out. mr. obado was there.. he stayed till like 12 when we all went back to our rooms.
Saturday: woke up at 7.. rehearsed 9-2. OMG we cleaned the ending flag feature.. the part where we bend down to the floor and get up in 1 count. omg. our legs hurt soooo bad after that. so then we went to waterford mall to eat.. and a bunch of us went to california pizza.. fun stuff. we went to the show saturday night. it was fun. we watched Martin County. They definately kicked some ass. it was a great performance. then we went back to the hotel after their retreat and fell asleep in about 10 minutes.
Sunday: we didn't have to wake up till 9. so we woke up.. rehearsal ran late.. which cut into our lunch time.. so we had like 45 minutes for lunch. and we had THE SLOWEST waitress at friendly's. everyone else ho came in after us were do ne before us.. and then we only had about 20 minutes to do hair, makeup, and get ready once we got bac to the hotel. and we were really pissed cuz usually that takes at least an hour just for hair. so all our hair looked like shit. but whatever. i ended up doing tara's in the car on the way to the show.. which was like 1.5 miles from our hotel.
we got to the show and met up with Marie.. she warmed the weapons up.. then we went to our real warmup area.. rifles took some quads since we hadn't been able to do them all weekend b/c of the ceiling at UHS cafeteria being too low.. and the wind blowing outside. so we were nervous about those b/c well.. yeah.. we hadn't done them since thursday's rehearsal. warmup went really well Mr. D came and Ms. McWilliams. then in staging mr. sap gave us one of his speeches like always.. but it was really sad b/c he was talkin about seniors last shows and everything.. and we were all crying. so then we go onto the floor.. already crying before it even started.
performance: HOLY FUCKING SHIT i know i already wrote about it last night.. but OMG it was fucking AMAZING.
so today i'm not at school.. b/c i just woke up about 30 minutes ago cuz i was so exhausted. yeah 14 hours of sleep. hell yes. and i still can barely walk or sit down b/c my legs are KILLING me from saturday's rehearsal.
