Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Last canon measurements taken when she was a child revealed she was a bit scrawny, so I imagine she's very petite, maybe 5' or so, but nothing bigger than that.
2. How old is she? 17, mentally and physically
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? Carries herself well, like a proper young lady should. With pride even. You can tell she's slightly arrogant, and she insists on being the epitome of feminine.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Fit, has a very healthy diet. Physically weak compared to most, but stronger than she looks.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Graceful, fluid, feminine, always. Rydia never has clumsy moments. That's just so unladylike. She's very confident in herself.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? According to everyone else she's freaking gorgeous but she doesn't see it. It's not important to her anyway. When she looks in the mirror she looks to see if she's neat, clean and presentable. She may not think she's pretty but she won't leave the mirror without making sure she's looking her best.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Clear, pale, flawless, even.
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Green, layered, about medium-length now (she refuses to cut it), very silky and soft.
9. What color are her eyes? Dark green, maybe blue or brown. Canon varies on this; looks like it changed colors between the first game and the sequel. So I'm taking all the fuss out of it and just going with dark green.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Canon images put emphasis on her chest and thighs. This makes me weep a bit inside, especially considering how she dresses.
11. What are her chief tension centers? I'm still not sure about this. I believe she'll get a headache most likely. The tension will probably focus along her neck and shoulders, somewhere in that area.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Everything she owns is elegant and graceful. Like I said, she's feminine to her core. She refuses to wear pants, shorts or anything else she feels might belong on a male. So far everything is either a dress, a body suit or a corset and a skirt.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? They fit a little too well. She's incredibly comfortable in them.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Yes. She really doesn't have "work clothes". The only difference is on a special occasion (like a birthday or a holiday) she'll wear something different. It's usually a lot dressier than her average outfit.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Oo What the hell. Idk; she didn't even have a speaking role in her canon. I guess she sounds like a 17 year old girl.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? She talks easily when she's comfortable. When she gets irritated her sentences come out in short, concise points and her tone goes rather flat. When she's upset, she yells like crazy.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nope.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Wtf?
She speaks the mage's language well enough, the ancient dialect used to summon and communicate with the eidolons, and her own native language. So that's three. And she's very fluent in all three.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Only when she's casting.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? Yes, no
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Eloquent. The only exception is when someone catches her off guard by saying or doing something she wasn't expecting. But she recovers quickly enough.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? Rydia is severely intelligent. She's getting to be both book-smart and street-smart, but it's taking a while to learn.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? Thinks on her feet.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Instinctive. Logical is secondary, and she's a bit of a realist. So whatever she's thinking is probably going to come out blunt and offensive.
4. What kind of education has the character had? She was educated by her eidolons. I suppose they taught her the basics, like reading, writing and all that good stuff. They probably taught her politics as well, and gave her a formal education in matters of the court, since her adoptive guardians were eidolon royalty.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Nature, especially the instincts of monsters and animals, including the human race. Magic and summoning as well, since she's a black mage and summoner. She's interested in and curious about everything, but currently she wants to know more about wormholes, classic literature and cooking.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? It's sort of complicated. On the inside she's an introvert. She forces herself not to be, tries to be outgoing and sociable, and she's made a lot of friends this way. But she secretly hates it, and wishes the world would just leave her alone.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Mood swings like whoa. She's a teenager. What do you expect? She tries very hard to keep her temper in check but most of the time she fails miserably.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? She's pretty relaxed, but it has everything to do with "If you do something I don't like I can and will kill you" and not just because she likes meeting new people. She's just curious.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Her sense of humor is severely twisted. By twisted I don't mean she thinks suicide is funny. I mean she finds the strangest things amusing. It just sort of depends on the situation. If someone's deliberately trying to be funny she'll probably look at them like they're crazy. Accidental, unexpected humor is more her thing.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Canonically, no.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? The death of her mother, the annihilation of her village, being dragged around by Cecil killing stuff for survival, seeing entire kingdoms threatened and wiped out by a world power, and being kidnapped and raised by monsters.
14. What does she fear? Fire. She got over it long enough to learn and use fire spells, and she will if she's in a pinch. But that doesn't mean she likes to use it or see it.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations? Making a life for herself, one that she can be proud of.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? There is a dark, very dark side of her she doesn't want anyone to see, not even her boyfriend.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? She didn't have a best friend in canon, but in game it's Jace. They met over the Guide.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She has trouble getting along with people.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? They're the same thing to her, since she has no blood relatives.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? She didn't have a crush in canon, but in game, Jace was her very first crush. Sorin is her latest.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? She loves to argue. Loves it. She hates it when arguments are cut short. She really doesn't have any weird bedroom habits, unless you count sleeping naked. She doesn't wear pajamas. She feels like they're stupid and a big waste of time.
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? Nope
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? She's neither, and they don't even register on her radar.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Nope.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Curious, tolerant if they directly effect her, but indifferent otherwise.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? She can't stand people. Period. Considering she was raised by monsters and nearly all of her experience with people throughout her life has been negative then yeah, I'd say she has a very good reason for it.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Rich
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? She doesn't have a social status.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? Apartment, shares it with Jace.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? That's about it. She's gonna sit on it until a special occasion comes along. Then she'll splurge.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? Works. Yes, she's good at it. She'd rather be doing something else though.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? Reading, magic, summoning, cooking. She spends her free time doing whatever she feels like doing.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? She has an extremely healthy diet of fruits, vegetables and meats. She loves bread, she never drinks, she'll never skip and meal and she loves eating fast food. She like sweets, but only when they're balanced with something salty or sour. Straight sugary foods are gross to her, with the exception of chocolate. She can eat chocolate all day every day.
