In which my point is proven :)
The print-run for Breaking Dawn is 3.2 million. Everyone: ZOMG, BROKE SOME SORT OF RECORD! Me: ZOMG, DH HAD 12 MILLION! But, I was fair, I looked up Goblet to see what IT'S iniital print run was- fourth novel, you know, and quite like Breaking Dawn is IT was the one where there was book parties and tons of secrecy and etc etc. When things started getting really Epic. (When I started liking the books, actually.) And of course, this is not even including the fact that the Twilight series has the HP fandom to REST on for all of those zillions of books sold.

And, for some reason, Stephenie Meyer's tour dates for Breaking Dawn are being announced on... Mtv news tomorrow. *Headdesk* I find it funny Twilight has gotten so buddy-buddy with MTV, since they got the rights originally to make the movie, Stephenie took one look at the script and went "Ah-ha, NO."

(I guess I just don't like them 'cus it's MTV. But they've been perfectly lovely to the Twilight fandom, so... I'm good.)
