Random question
I know the term for Japanese written in the English/french/etc alphabet is romanji, but what's the term for Chinese?
(If you can't tell, I'm writing Firefly fanfiction :). )
Edit: Ok, it's pinyin! ... But now I'm having trouble finding any sites that will translate English into pinyin. English into Chinese? Sure! But pinyin? Nope! ... Help? Lol.
(IN OTHER NEWS, YAYYY! My roommate Alana was freaking out because she hadn't gotten her financial aid check yet- it's worth like, 7000, and her parents got it in Sunday in San Luis Obsipo and sent it up, then, and she still hadn't gotten it and kinda Needs It To Buy Books and Pay Rent, and so we were convinced it was lost in the rent and figured out what we had to do to cancel it and get a new one so she was literally out the door on her way to SFSU's financial aid department and called me to look up a number for her when, OMG, WAIT, WE HAVE THE MAIL AND IT'S HERE YAY YAY YAYYYY!
... SOOO happy she didn't go cancel it and THEN we found it man.
(And now Jess just got a care package from her family with blankets and frames and chocolate and I'm like "... I WANT TO GET SOMETHING IN THE MAIL T___________________T." And apparently there's another Jessica Myers who lives, like, 2 blocks away so the post lady was like "Huh? o______________0" and rang the doorbell to check, heh.)
