I have no comment on this. Actually, I'm okay with it. I can see it. Maybe he doesn't have the whole GREEN POOF OF HAIR, but I can see him as Spike. Oh, hell, ok, he's handsome and that's enough in my book. :D.
In OTHER news... (Seriously, WHY IS EVERY POPULAR ANIME EVER BEING MADE INTO A LIVE ACTION MOVIE? I'm waiting/dreading the Naruto movie, man...)
I just found, THE MOST AMAZING, OTP, EVER, through the powers of the interwebz.
Was looking up Firefly stuff, as I'm prone to, because I'm obsessed right now. (Ordered it and Collector's Edition Serenity off ebay. Tried to talk myself into getting normal Serenity, since I could get it for like, 5 bucks, and I'll watch those bonus features, what, once? And I can find them online. And its not worth spending 20 bucks on. .... Ya. Bought it anyway.)
See, I adore River. ADORE. :D. But I don't ship her with anyone from the show, because no one's... well not good enough, but EQUAL enough. I NEED couples to compliment each other- help each other out. (And its not interesting unless they're both emotionally scarred a bit. :D.) THAT'S why I like Zutara so much (I keep meaning to spend a day on Capstara again, since I mess around online so much, but I keep forgetting...). Because they COMPLIMENT each other.
Its also why I mostly ship canon. Because usually books/shows/whatever are smart enough to have characters that compliment each other and put them together. But every now and then I come across something not canon. And my non-canon is still pretty average- Zutara and Peter/Claire (IF THEY'RE NOT RELATED. ONLY IF. INCEST IS GROSS!).
But I have a crackity one now. BUT OH IT WORKS.
Because no one can help River enough. Or can she help anyone out enough- her mind, her reality, is SO different than anyone else's on Serenity. Her story always seemed almost jarring to me compared to the rest of the crew- it seemed to me you could have a show (or movie. :D. Hi Serenity! Which I'm liking more and more as time passes btw) COMPLETLY devoted to her.
Oh I'm just ranting. ANYWAY, LONG RANT MADE SHORT... (and ALSO, this gives me a wonderful ship for ANOTHER fav character of mine who I desperately wanted to ship off and couldn't find anything, except that one amazing yaoi fic I read... AND I DON'T CARE IT WAS YAOI BECAUSE IT WAS THAT GOOD OF A STORY! Albeit, yaoi...)
