Black and Lacey White

Aug 20, 2010 14:18

A cool breeze ruffled

My lacey white gown

I found a black cobweb

Tracing along the ground

Black cobwebs

I watched them grow

Coiling round and round

Sprouting from below

Fear surged

Up my silk clad spine

Black sticky cobwebs

Hair-like and fine

I searched for an exit

Tried to find an escape

Tore at the fibers

The black cobwebs like tape

Black rings on my fingers

Cobweb stocking on my leg

It stuck to my body

Midnight tendrils on my head

Arms in black fell limp

Cobweb clad legs turned numb

Panic filled my eyes

As I failed to run
