scholarships
Honors night was last night. It was really awesome. So we walk into the auditorium and sit down.... then We get started and my legs are litterally shaking because I am so freaking nervous. Then Mrs. Zellner laughs when she is about to say who the first award goes to..... and it's me! I was like OMG.... Where do I go????? lmao. Ms. Tsipras said I made the best face. I was so freaking happy. Then I think I got the Memorial Scholarship next which was awesome. I really wanted that one. I had a lot of really great teachers in that school. And I always went to the carnivals lol. The third one I got was the DSECU scholarship. John got that one too... so sweet. Annnnnd Matthew got a scholarship all to himself! It was the Tim Evans? scholarship.. I think. And that was so freaking awesome. I like jumped out of my chair for him lol. I am so proud of him for all the amazing things he is capable of doing. Plus I'm glad someone else realized it too and gave him money!
So I get home after going out to eat with Matt's family and my mom. My stepdad tells me I got a call from Northern like 5 minutes after we left. And guess the frick what.... I called back and I GOT THE LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP worth 2000 a year RENEWABLE!!!!! So yeah that was insanely ironic that they called last night. And now I added up all my scholarships and guess what... I have over 9000 in scholarships. And the most I need to pay a year is 12000. My parents can afford a measly 3000 or less. I am so amazingly happy right now I cannot explain it. I know I've been freaking out and annoying everyone lately about stressing for money... but I really did not expect to be so fortunate. I feel so blessed in every way.
I appreciate everything that was given to me. And I promise I will put it to good use.
But on a side note... now I'm not afraid to buy my HONDA FIT BABY!
