I really like "Cool", the new Gwen Stefani single. It's catchy in a late '80's pop song kind of way and doesn't wear old quickly like a genuine '80's pop song does, because it lacks the cheesy sound that was inherent in the recording process during the time. The lyrics aren't that bad either. On the polar opposite side of the musical spectrum, System of a Down's "B.Y.O.B" is so ridiculously over the top that it kicks ass. I can't help laughing every time I hear it. It's hilariously awesome. I love it. Why do they always send the poor?
The
postsecret that says "I'm sick of saving people" reminds me of Jesus. I think it has to do with how the hand is positioned on the floor. In any case, Jesus must have thought that at some point and still forged on, which, at least to me, makes him even more of an admirable figure. The sibling one is... wow. That sucks.
