i just had to choose between studying abroad in france this summer and going to the next world cup...
south africa, HERE I COME!
the way i see it, i only have one french class to take (outside of regular semester classes) over the summer, so spending $ A CRAP LOAD on one class, people telling me where to go, what to do, when to eat, where to live...it's just not me. i did it when i went to oxford, and it was fine for the first two weeks, then i straight up fought with my roommate. never again.
with the money that i would have spent, i can still go on my mini european trip (a week in france, a week in england, and a week in germany), and i can spend THE ENTIRE MONTH in south africa! it'll be my last good, long trip before i lose my youth to med school...but after that, they'll be more, hopefully!
i'm good with this plan so far...
