Well, right now I COULD be typing my English report, or cleaning my room, or working on my script, but there are a few things I need to write down. My friend's Grandma died, and she's really upset. A bunch of friends have been doing things to make her feel better, and I thought I'd write her a song, and then sing it to her while I twiddle a bit on the guitar. I've got most of the lyrics done, but it's still a work-in-progress:
I know it seems that hole is inviting
and you'd like to sit and wait inside
'till the end of the Earth
swallowed up like a bug
But in all that dark, in all that dank
isn't the sun a little more exciting?
Life goes on
and she's not really gone
She's still alive in the Earth and inside
and so it goes the tears we cry
should be happy
'cause she's moved on
and she's not really gone
Every tree you see
every flower you smell
every bird that sings
every lion that roars
she's a part of that
and you gotta be proud.
She's not really dead
she's still alive
you gotta live, you gotta breathe,
'Cause it's the lonely who die
She was surrounded by love
and the legend goes on
The lyrics aren't finished, and like I said it's a work in progress. Today in English I made a complete ass of myself. Yay!! Go me... Oh, well, as the song said, life goes on. Oh, yeah and some guy noticed the picture in my locker (probably the 50th person to ask me about it)
"What's that a picture of?"
"It's a movie set."
"Where?"
"Los Angeles."
"What movie?"
"War of the Worlds."
"That's really cool."
"Yeah."
I should probably start my English now///
