Merry Christmas.
I hope everyone else is having an excellent holiday. My godmother (mom's youngest sister) got engaged in my living room today(it was adorable), my big present is that moses is flying out here Thursday, and my family is visiting New York City for the first time ever this weekend, so it has been quite exciting around here. Of course, the house is also filled with gifts and cookies and excellent food, but those three things are the big things. I got so many books that I probably won't finish them this semester, as usual.
In other news, I really do want to go some place cool for spring break. I need to know who would be interested in going, how much you want to spend, what you want to do, and what area of the country you want to visit. We need to stay in the U.S. unfortunately, because I don't have a passport (there are islands that are technically the U.S. of course). I have family friends in both Chicago and New York that can help us find places to stay/things to do in either city, and my parents are willing to help me plan whatever I'd like to do. I'm up for a road trip, or flying someplace if we can get a deal. I'd love to dive, but my boyfriend doesn't dive and neither do many of you, so it can't be the main focus of the trip if we're going to please everyone. I'm not set on someplace warm, so I'm really open to whatever. If a big trip with several friends doesn't work out over break, I'll probably do something low-key with just moses, but I hope I'll be able to round a few people up for an adventure in May before everyone's jobs/internships/summer adventures get under way.
