Hey Universe, Is Yunjae still on?
This is so random blogging but hey it's 1AM here and some tea brawl is keeping me awake when I should be sleeping (Gad. I have 10AM Meeting so wish me luck).
So I was on twitter the other day (everyday) and my mutual and I are interacting about Yunjae cuz it Feb. 5 (of course it's #YunJaeday) when our conversation turned to "Hey! maybe universe is still rooting for them 🤔" and so she brought up a very recent tarot card reading from bilibili. To be clear, I'm not really a superstitious person although i believe in something like 11:11 (duh! sometimes you gotta put a little faith into unseen forces especially in situations where you have no control. Think of prayers I guess).
Tarot card reading, fortune telling, mind reading, astrology, numerology, palmistry and other divinities, I don't necessarily believe them but I entertain whatever they could offer to me. Besides, it's for fun.😂 I still believe that you create your own destiny.
Before we go to the actual tea, let me just state that the reader was asked by a friend to do a reading about Yunho's GIRLFRIEND although he repeatedly mentioned these days that he doesn't have any. Normally, I would be happy with this but dude this is so suspish. She knew TVXQ and it seems she's not really into them which isn't surprising to me. She said that he has someone he likes, but he is not in a relationship. She described the person as someone who is rich, independent, strong, like 'the empress'.
Guess what the comment section looks like.....
Anyway, this supposedly simple reading had turned into full blown series with 4 parts. I guess the tarot reader became curious cuz who the hell is Kim Jaejoong and why folks suddenly become crazy so she checked him and did some reading to him and I guess the cards fit so much (FYI, I don't understand chinese).
So where the hell is the tea?
Since I don't understand a thing, I went on reading the comments left to the video in hopes I could get something from it. Of course, most of the comments will be all about how Yunjae is real yada yada yada BUT not every comments are rainbows and butterflies, there are few negative comments to be expected but there's one argument that caught my interest. I won't be sharing the exact THREAD of comments but of course it's between Yunjae fans and OT2 fans. Duh
Some realizations after reading the entire comments:
- Chinese yunjae fans thinks Korean and Japanese fans know more than them (which is wrong guys. Like, I think all of us are just as vigilant observers and doing the best we can to get any relevant info or signs that the ship still sails).
- Chinese fans thinks there are still overseas Yunjae fans (the international community) but mostly they are "Loose fans" (I think google meant casual?).
- The never ending comparison of Yunho and Changmin's relationship vs. YunJae vs. Jaejoong's extremely close relationship with Yuu vs. Yunho's extremely close relationship with Son HoJun (I find this really hilarious. Seriously??? xD)
- There are persistent OT2 fans and solo fans in the comment section who will either bring up TVXQ's relationship or have the guts to spread malicious information just to prove Jaejoong is fucking straight (I didn't know some of us have to go this far).
- China Yoonjae lovebar definitely receives a lot of hate comments and I know this is expected but just imagine the magnitude of hate they have to read all day being the only biggest Yunjae fansite existing today (Still, I can't believe how we came from many and ended up with only 1 continuing).

If I was still young and dumb, I know for sure I will be displeased reading all this negativities but we aren't young dumb anymore. We have to think things through. 😂
To some degree, I agree with what that one non-yunjae fan said that we should stop imposing our ideals to our idol's life. Like dude, she/he got a point there. Don't get me wrong. Shipping culture is fun when we do it for fun but when we start to look more than that, things will surely get fucked especially when folks are shipping same genders. Clearly, the yunjae community had crossed this line long time ago and I got carried away of course. I'm just hoping we can make it out still intact and just full of love like how we got in the first place and not end up being bitter and hating the fact that we wasted our lives to something we thought was real because that will just be a double heartbreak for us 💔💔.
I love the Yunjae community. Why else would I stick around for so long if I don't believe and share the same ideals ayyy? But there is no perfect community. Each community, fandom or whatever we called it, they got flaws. For so many years, non-shippers still got the same perception about Yunjae shippers BUT to be honest, the community had change in many ways which I'm very sure the non-shippers won't believe it is possible. xD
Anyway, I wish I still know the reading word by word but to summarizes the entire 5 episodes of this tarot reading, it seems Yunjae hasn't come into terms like they are still dancing in fire and waiting that one of them will get a hold of the other. I have read a few fortune telling of them during split and in some ways, I find myself thinking, aren't they saying the same thing? Like their love is complicated. Like they are not together but it seems fate still favors them to be together however it's always up to them to find their ways to be together?
I mean it's already 10 years and we have the GFF 2015 but why does it seems they still have an unresolved things (based on the cards and stuff)???
I don't believe in readings or any divinities but sometimes, I cannot help but to think why, in most of these fortune readings that I read, it seems they are being described similar to a star crossed lovers but with a chance of still being together? 🤔
I don't know man but as much as its fun to read these fortune tellings, it is just as good as our endless assumptions of things. Nothing conclusive.
