So I went to Idaho this last weekend. My sister Linda, had her baby way early and it died so we went to the funeral. It was tough. Linda's doing better now, but she'll always be sad about it. While in Idaho we also got to visit with Keith's aunt and her family. He lived with them while going to college at ISU. That part was fun. We ate her amazing home cooked food and stayed up late watching Flip that House on TLC. (A surprisingly fascinating show). The trip wasn't too bad, with the Mountaineer and the DVD players for the kids it was pretty nice. My family is now on their way to California for my brother Will's graduation from Marine Corps bootcamp. Then he'll be home for a week (10 days leave) before he heads back down for technical school. He's a combat engineer. After tech school he'll be in the reserves until his mission, then active when he gets back. My C++ class is going good. I am glad I decided to take it now and keep progressing in my degree even if it makes me really busy. I aced my first test and my first assignment worked before I turned it in, which is always good. I'm looking forward to Nanowrimo though I have no idea how I will find any time to write. I would offer to give up playing Warcraft for the month, but that would be awful and I am trying to get to 60 before the exp pack comes out around my birthday mid november. Then of course I have to play the new stuff from the exp pack. My stamping business is going well. I've sold enough stuff that I got promoted to Sr. Associate. I've had a few parties and a couple of classes. I really enjoy it. It's fun to get together and make cute stuff while visiting with my friends and new people that I get to make friends with. I just need to make more money than I'm spending on the stuff I'm buying. But I want it all! Yesterday we (Keith and I) found out that most of the networks have full episodes of their current shows online that you can watch for free. So I got to watch the episode of Numbers I missed while we were driving to Idaho and Keith got to watch Heroes that he missed and he'll/ we'll watch the Unit later. (He slept through it yesterday). Those are the only shows other than Disney channel and Nickelodeon that we watch. I can't watch Heroes though. The concept is cool, but I watched the season premier and it is too violent for me. There's a girl that heals from any wounds so they have to show awful stuff for her to heal from. Yuck! So Keith tells me about it and I can follow the interesting story line without watching the yucky parts. I love Numbers. I'm so glad it's continuing in its brilliance. If you have time and are interested the last 3 episodes (the new season) are online at CBS's website through innertube. We bought paint to paint the master bathroom. It's needed it since we moved in, but I finally decided on a color we both like and got around to picking up the paint. I'm not sure how long it will take before we get it painted, but I'm a little closer. Oh and I'm reorganizing the stuff in my kitchen so it is more functional. I'm not sure how much difference it'll make but I was reading about laying out a kitchen in a brochure about new cabinets (someday...) and it said to group things together, like food holding cupboards near each other and dishes holding ones together. So I'm doing some shuffling cause mine is not sorted like that and it's pretty unorganized. Hopefully it will work better when I'm done.
